We have examined the local buildings that have stood the test of time through years of experience in historic restorations and renovations. As many who are lucky enough to experience the barns and centuries old farmhouses of our area, we are intrigued and inspired by the beautiful, lasting constructions of full mortise & tenon structural work and dovetail joinery. We are proud to replicate the same methods in crafting homes with handmade custom windows, cabinetry, and furniture. While our forefathers employed hand tooling exclusively, we are lucky to have benefitted from technological advances in the construction industry. When the project demands it, we use hand tools, but also benefit from the ability to use modern equipment to produce clean installations. We insist on using the highest quality tools available that will perform consistently and efficiently. We have not only mastered construction of historic methods, but also recently advanced materials and methods.
